About our fellowship
Who we are, what we believe, and why we gather week after week in Ramamurthy Nagar.
Our Story
It began with a few families and an open Bible
In 2015 a small group of families living in and around Ramamurthy Nagar began meeting in a home on Sunday mornings. They had no building, no programme and no plan beyond one decision: to be disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ themselves, and then to help others become His disciples, in obedience to His commission in Matthew 28:18–20.
Those meetings grew slowly and steadily. Neighbours came. Students came. Families new to Bengaluru came looking for a spiritual home. In time the Lord provided the hall we now meet in, and today believers from many backgrounds, mother tongues and walks of life gather here each week.
Our history is short and our numbers are modest, but our desire is unchanged: a church where the Word of God is honoured, where sin is dealt with honestly, where the poor are as welcome as the rich, and where the Lord Jesus Christ alone is exalted.

What We Believe
Our foundation
We hold to the historic faith once delivered to the saints. These convictions shape everything we teach and practise.
- The Word of God. That the Bible, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God, and the sole and sufficient guide for our life on earth.
- The Triune God. That there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- The Lord Jesus Christ. In His deity, His virgin birth, His true humanity, His perfectly sinless life, His substitutionary death as an atonement for our sins, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, and His personal return for His saints.
- Sin and repentance. That all human beings are dead in sin and utterly lost, and that sins can be forgiven only through repentance and faith in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The new birth. In the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, by which a person is born again to become a child of God.
- Justification by faith. That we are justified by faith in Christ alone, the evidence of this being a changed life and good works that glorify God.
- Baptism. In baptism in water, by immersion, after regeneration, in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- The fullness of the Spirit. In the necessity of being filled with the Holy Spirit continually, in order to have power to witness for Christ by life and by word.
- The resurrection. In the resurrection of the righteous to eternal life, and of the unrighteous to eternal judgment.
How We Live It Out
What marks our life together
Teaching, not entertainment
Our meetings are built around the unhurried, verse-by-verse ministry of Scripture. We would rather send you home with one truth you must obey than an hour you merely enjoyed.
Freely you received
We take no offerings from visitors, we never announce targets, and no message is ever sold. Every meeting, book and recording is free. Giving is private, voluntary and between you and God.
Known and cared for
Sunday is only the doorway. The life of the church happens in homes through the week — eating together, praying together, and helping one another through real difficulty.
One body, many tongues
Rich and poor, Kannadiga and Tamilian, doctor and daily-wage worker sit side by side and serve side by side. In Christ there is no first class and second class.
Godliness where no one sees
We measure spiritual growth not by platform ability but by how a person treats their spouse, children, parents and colleagues on an ordinary Tuesday.
Elders, not a one-man show
The church is led by a plurality of elders who serve without salary from the church, and who are accountable to the Word of God and to the believers they serve.

Our elders are ordinary working men who care for the flock alongside their daily occupations. They are approachable, and they would be glad to meet you.
